Our Founder
Meet Jesper, the mastermind behind Terrace balcony expert.
After having completed his carpentry qualifications and worked as an all-round carpenter for many years in the Netherlands from formwork to high end residential work, including renovation work at the Royal Palace, Jesper decided to move to Australia in 2018 and he started his own business: Jesper Poels Construction. As a licensed carpenter, Jesper has completed many high-end residential renovations, including several terrace houses in Paddington and the Inner West of Sydney. This is where he noticed how many balconies around Sydney are in despair and the idea for Terrace balcony expert was born.
When Jesper is not transforming balconies, you’ll find Jesper with his partner Janne and twin boys at home, or exploring this beautiful country during a camping trip.
